Dr. Myles Munroe joined the Church Triumphant on a Chariot of Fire when he died alongside his lovely wife, daughter and six others abroad the ill-fated private Lear jet that crashed on approach near Grand Bahama International Airport around 5:10 p.m. of November 9, 2014.
Like the Elijah of old!
The world reported a plane crash and mourned. Heaven welcomed a legendary soldier of the cross who knocked on the gates of eternity on his Chariot of Fire.
Ambassador Young was right when he said, “This is what Dr. Munroe would have wanted.” And now, Dr. Munroe has “put on incorruption” as well as “put on immortality”. 1 Corinthians 15:35-57.
Let us all be comforted that our final victory is near but sure even when death is inevitable. Paul admonishes us that “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
The challenge to us now is where are the Elisahs of today to grab the mantle of leadership to continue where Dr. Munroe signed out?
Good night Dr. Munroe. We will see you on resurrection morning! Dear reader, will you be there?
To the soldiers of the Cross in the service of the Lord, what are you doing with the mantle? On to the battlefield for the harvest of souls.
